PTR Patch Notes – August 5, 2026

About the Public Test Realm (PTR)

  • The PTR is a server for players to participate in testing upcoming systems and content. It is NOT a full game experience. For the full early access game, please use the commercial Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen client.
  • On the PTR, players will encounter bugs and incomplete content and/or systems. Server availability is not guaranteed. Additionally, character and/or server resets may occur without notice.
  • Please provide your bug reports and feedback on the Official Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Discord, where PTR feedback channels have been created.

In this Update

  • This week, we have several fixes for issues reported across various classes, including several issues that were contributing to problems with aura-based abilities and charged abilities across all classes. This week’s update also includes audio optimizations and adds Level 41-50 class trainers for all currently active classes.
  • While this week’s update primarily includes bug fixes, we are planning to continue bringing additional class abilities and masteries online for testing in upcoming updates.

Level Cap

  • The level cap for Week 14 will remain at level 50.

Week 14 Testing Focus

  • The following areas are in focus for Week 14:
  • Combat testing for levels 1-50
  • Mastery options for Warrior, Paladin, Dire Lord, Shaman, Cleric, Druid, Wizard, and Enchanter.
  • Solo and Group adventuring gameplay throughout the game.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that would sometimes cause NPCs or objects to randomly appear when players used certain abilities, such as Divine Shock with the Sacred Ground mastery unlocked.
  • Fixed an issue where NPCs would sometimes run away for a short time after being attacked, before realizing what was going on and finally moving back to engage their attackers.
  • Fixed an issue with charged abilities that would cause them to queue infinitely when rapidly pressing the ability hotkey, which would result in strange behavior including locking the player in a casting animation indefinitely.
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing charged abilities from properly applying their charge amount to their effects.
  • Fixed several water volumes in the world that had a bad surface swimming offset. Water in more areas should now behave more like water should.
  • Potential fix for an issue that was causing aura abilities to terminate abruptly and incorrectly. This problem was leading to strange behavior for aura-based effects such as Paladin Hymns stacking when they shouldn’t, or disappearing when they should have remained active. Note: We will be continuing to watch for any reported problems with aura effects to make sure that this is fully resolved.
  • Fixed an issue where pets would refuse to attack some NPCs in the Nightfall Crypt.

  • Updated the descriptions for the Whispers line of abilities to correctly indicate the amount of resting mana regen provided by their effects.
  • Purge Magic should now be properly added to the Codex when unlocked, instead of immediately purging itself from the Codex.

  • Fix for rogues sometimes getting knocked out of shadow walk immediately after using Escape Artist.

Shaman

  • The Unbroken Current mastery (available at Level 40) now requires Unstoppable Current (available at Level 25) to be unlocked, instead of the other way around.

Warrior

  • On the Defensive should now give the correct bonuses to the Warrior.

  • Ice Volley and Torrent of Flames should now both properly apply their damage four times over their duration, instead of missing a tick.
  • It should no longer be possible for Wizards to stack multiple ranks of the Shielding spell.
  • Cleaned up some bad references in the display names of various Wizard Mastery nodes.
  • Elemental Cycle should now properly (and temporarily) grant spell haste when changing between different elemental damage types.
  • Spellblade’s Alacrity I and II will now correctly affect the Blaze and Static Surge abilities in addition to Creeping Cold.
  • Welling Fury should now properly generate stacks and reduce the focus consumption of Flamestrike when it is active.

  • Fixed lighting issues in the Ghaldassii Ruins area of Wild’s End
  • Fixed several floating plants and trees in Wild’s End.
  • Fixed some missing collision in Wild’s End.
  • Fixed floating plants and trees in the Eastern Plains.
  • Class trainers for levels 41-50 are now available in Thronefast, Sorhiryth, and the Barrowdark (as appropriate for each location).
