Developer Live Stream – Art and World Building Update

On Thursday, July 14th, 2022, Creative Director Chris “Joppa” Perkins joined as a guest for our monthly development update. During this session, we talked about new additions to our Art team, as well as what they had been working on. We also announced Steve Clover joining our programming team, bringing his experience in MMORPGs to Visionary Realms. Below are some highlights from the stream:

•We showed work from our new environmental concept artist highlighting starting areas for various classes, and design goals for towns surrounding Thronefast.
•We also showed off Thronefast city concept art, highlighting the docks and ports leading into the city, and how it will be a large hub for all of Terminus.
•We showed progress on Thronefastian architecture of nearby towns, showing the evolution of concept sketches, to renders, to in-game implementation of modular buildings. We talked about how the design of these buildings allows for customization of their kits in order to build out cities near Thronefast and AVP.
•Chris announced the joining of Steve Clover and what he has been working on since coming on board.
•We discussed the new terrain enhancements to our mountain systems and showed off the sprawling landscape ranging from Silent Plains, through AVP, Wild’s End, Thronefast and more.
