Dungeons and Dragons online has a fairly neat reincarnation system. its kinda like the proposed progeny system. but they have the greensteel items which are highend raid gear useable at level 12, but only attainable from endgame raids. and when reincarnating these items will stay with your character.

also just so everyone knows its not easy to get more than one piece of this gear, the first one takes about 10 raids on average, then after that you must purify the gear before its useable or you will get a really harsh cursed status, taking about 20 raids per piece just for the purification.

    2. FFXIV - The Armory - Seperate item inventory for playr made gear sets for switching gear on the fly (In XIV this is for switching easily between jobs, in Pantheon it could be used to switch gear for atmospheres).

This is the best one I can think of. With all the gear we will need to carry FFXIV's system would be great. They have bags that don't count toward inventory slots to hold excess gear that can be swapped on the fly. If we have to carry around 2-3+ sets of gear just to travel to an area that will really make things tough. For instance, traveling north you have to go through a desert (heat), then mountains (wind), then the tundra (cold).
