No ... no they dont. Cash shops are for corporate puppet developers who fail at making an engaging and challenging game where players can pay their monthly dues and completely immerse themselves ("live") in the world. For Warcraft wannabe's who make promises of millions to investors but fall short because they were so set on copying every convenient instant gratification handout from WoW they made a game where players can "finish" in a week and get bored at the end of the month.
... seriously people, can we have one @#&$ing game the isnt cheapened and turned into an interactive ad to buy things at a cash shop? Just one? Is it really that much of a burden on you OP to have to actually play the game to get something you want out of it instead of paying to have it delivered to your mailbox?
No, no cash shop. At all. No cosmetics, no pets, no mounts, nothing. Only place cash shops are acceptable is in B2P or F2P games. This is not one of them. Those who 'convert' arent worth the disk space they take up.

To add to the 3d sculpting idea:
IF we don't allow cosmetic items, everyone will look exactly like whatever they managed in the game. Only using bronze armor? Guess you never killed any meaningful boss. Wearing shiny armor and particle effects on your mastercrafted weapon? You obviously did something special.
So how about we use this situation. People LOVE to look cool. And having to do more then forking over 10 bucks to look cool is even better ONCE you manage it.
Let us upload a snapshop of our toon. And buy a 3d sculpting of that state. Modern 3d printer will do that just fine and people would pay a good sum for it. Maybe even once per xpac? Like everytime before a new xpac shows up... print a snapshot of your toon. Look at your desk after a few years. Memories ect.
Getting attached to your toon and EARNING everything you have is mandatory for this to work. So if you can adjust your look by simply slapping on some cosmetic tabs would definitly ruin the 3d model idea.
Ok, this has run its course, we have made our stance clear and there is no point beating this subject like a dead horse with personal opinions on business decisions. This thread will now be closed, please do not create any more Cash Shop or similar threads or they will be closed/removed.
Brad has made it clear that we will not have a cash shop or sell items that give anyone an advantage over another player.
