Kilsin's "Passing the Time" thread (http://www.pantheonmmo.com/content/forums/topic/2773/passing-the-time) reminded me that I was thinking about picking up an rpg on steam. I was wondering if any of y'all had played it and if so what you thought. The reviews are good. Anyway, it's Shadowrun Returns. Here's the Steam link. http://store.steampowered.com/app/234650/  Thanks

Never played it (or even heard of it) but if you are looking for a really quality RPG and you haven't already played it check out Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition and Baldurs Gate 2 Enhanced Edition.

Shadow run's alright. Not my cup of tea tho. I prefer Pillars of Eternity.

Thanks Cromulent! Yeah I own and have played the Enhanced Edition of BG2. Was amazing when it came out and while the graphics are a bit dated it's an awesome game.  Speaking of RPGs from that era, Icewind Dale I might have enjoyed even more. If you haven't played it and liked BG you should check it out.

I'm not sure it's my cup of tea either. That's one of the reasons I was asking here. I thought there are enough others around who have similar taste in games and might have tried it out.

I'm on a break from Pillars right now. :)  I stopped playing for a bit to play something else and have had a hard time going back to it. I need to.
