I have played tanks in many different games. There are two major draws. The first is that tanks are essentially a requirement for group content so there is very little difficulty in finding groups. The second, and main draw for me has been that with enough skill and gear it becomes possible to solo content designed for whole groups. It certainly was not a given for just anybody playing those classes, but just that the possibility was there was enough for me to work toward that goal.
