Absolutely love the reveals that we got and already trying to figure out possible rotations and situations to use everything in. I listened to the podcost Aradune and Joppa were on tonight and they revealed a couple nice little tidbits that you will not pick up from the newsletter.
Increases your movement speed after being outside for a short time. Returning inside will cancel the effect after a short time.
This is an example of a class passive which from the sounds of it all classes will have, only we just get a 1 class teaser of it so far.
Rogues have carefully honed their craft of sneaking around and hiding in the shadows. But Rogues who have learned to Shadow Walk have developed the ability to seemingly bring the shadows with them, remaining unseen while moving. While Shadow Walk is active, you are invisible to living, non-magical targets and can move around freely at reduced speed. (Consumes mana over time)
Rogues can evolve their Shadow Walk ability into Shadow Dwell, achieving a nearly supernatural degree of stealth which does not require mana to sustain.
This is an example of an ability that can be upgraded. This also sounded like there will be multiple abilities that will have this upgrade associated with it.
They also alluded to the different race abilities where Ogre's are known for there frontal stun immunity. Why would you want to go with a different race for a warrior with this? Well maybe the other race passive abilities could be great for different situations thus having a lot of different combinations to be used.
The upgraded abilities and some that just aren't listed will be aquired through quests or finding those mystical trainers we keep hearing about. I can't wait, with the limited ability bar and a varirety of abilities to use to function for different play styles and situations it is looking great!
