With skill chains? = Awesome!
Without skill chains? = Boring.
FFXI is the only game I've played where I've actually enjoyed playing a melee and doing melee just from the skill chains and various effects and bonuses you could get from them. Unfortunately, circumstances don't allow me to play FFXI or enjoy it anymore (sad memories) but I loved the skill chain system.
