Hi, I am a new pledge. Excited to play Pantheon. My Everquest experiences were enhanced by players' assistance and I am curious/interested in how I might be able to assist players new to the style of MMORPG that doesn't hold your hand from start to endgame.

10.2 Will there be a volunteer guide system?
Absolutely. We will begin putting that program together in Beta or earlier. Additionally, we will also have a guild outreach program and mentoring system. Onboarding and helping newcomers get acquainted with the game is very important to us.
The short answer is Yes.
A guide system will be in game were new players can reach out to a list of approved guides on the game to ask questions too or ask for assistance in learning. It will be a totally volunteer program and there may be rewards for helping others through such a system. This was discussed in the Live Streams which can be viewed on Youtube.
There will also be a mentor program so you can scale down to your friends level to help teach them the game and you can play with your friends even if you out-level them.

As kindly pointed out, we have in fact answers these and have ongoing discussions, so I will need to close this up to consolidate information, I am leading the Guides program up which is still being built internally, I will announce when it is time for public applicants so please stay tuned for that :)
