... to have found clues that begin to vaguely suggest the possibility of the likely type of hat that The Keeper wears, and whether or not it might have a feather.
I don't expect to actually KNOW for certain until the bard class epic quest at the level cap of course, but seeking this knowledge will be a continuous pursuit during my time exploring Terminus with my mates.
By the time I'm level 12 I hope...
1. I have figured out all of my custom UI
2. Have figured out all my custom hotbutton keys form keyboard / Mouse
3. Have run thru several hard dungeons (appropriate to level)
4. Have not logged off the game since level 1
5. Am amongst the leaders of my class in level and gear
6. Have made several new friends that will last for many years
7. Have already discovered a unique perception quest that resulted in a special item
8. Have ran at least one mini raid (designed for level 10 players)
9. Have killed a very rare NPC, maybe even was a part of a special event because of it
10. Had no connection issues or DCs during my game of play
11. Felt like it took forever to get to this level
By the time I'm level 12 I hope...
1) That I still have no idea what I'm doing
2)That I've made some cool friends
3) That I think I know what I'm doing (even though #1)
4) That I have found a little corner of some super low level dungeon that I can hang out with people in while we kill some stuff.
5) That I haven't gotten my ass kicked so often that I feel pathetic
6) That I have gotten my ass kicked often enough to feel good when I don't get my ass kicked
7) That they've decided to release a leprechaun skin for halflings. (I had to include that one, just because today is St. Patrick's day.)
By the time I'm level 12 I hope...
I've remade my character or made a completely new character at least once.
I have gotten lost in a city and seen another.
I have been killed by an opposite faction guard or merchant.
I have found a rare spawn, who dropped something cool for my class(but scaled to low levels of course).
I bought and sold a few things (with players).
I found lots of regents to use in several tradeskills, which I just barely started working on.
I died 1/10 as often as I die in Dark Souls (which is a lot).
I have fallen off a cliff.
I have seen many out of place extremely high level mobs that hate my guts.
I've met that crazy guy who is lvl 50 in a week.
I have gotten in a few groups and also found a few solo camps.
I never found myself running around willy nilly killing everything I see like you did at low levels in Everquest.
I know my basic way around my starting area and the surrounding zones (only need my map sometimes).
I have gotten drunk in game.
I am good at several skills that aren't strictly "make something new", such as climbing, swimming, and fishing, because I felt an actual need to use them.
I have discovered some piece of lore I couldn't find on the website.
I have done a quest, which wasn't simple.
I know, in general, from actual in game content, who my gods and my mortal leaders are, as well as any particular enemies my race might have.
I have seen a breathtaking piece of scenery and knew I would actually go there someday at a higher level.
