In EQ , virtually every attack had a small amount of 'push' which moved the target away from the skill. This varied based on the skill.
I feel this is an interesting and useful mechanic , as added a layer of positioning required to make sure enemies were not pushed into agro range of others.
In Pantheon there could be even more uses:
- Skills that have push or pull mechanics both players and NPC can use.
- Reaction animations that add more weight to combat.
- The need for melee to slowly reposition , which adds more dynamic looking fights (good for streams, and enhances other positional skills Risk and Reward)
