I’ll have probably ten characters, that I’ll play for differing race/class/crafting experiences. Probably six or seven will be healers. I love that part of mmos. I don’t know if my main will be a Cleric, Druid or Shaman yet.

Essential.
I could go on a long rant about how some games in recent years have merged classes down to the point where at times the tank was also the healer, or the healer was the dps. I like well-defined roles for classes like healers, tanks, dps, and crowd control. While there is some overlap, the tank shouldn't need to be an awesome DPS simply to tank, that's not his job, nor should a healer be required to dish out punishing amounts of DPS between heals. The tank should be there to serve as protector of the group, absorbing the punishment while the group does the killing. The healer should be focused on keeping said group alive and dispelling any nasty effects, while the CC keeps any unwanted extra attention at bay while either turning that enemy against it's allies or putting it on lockdown and debuffing and damaging other foes while DPS should be killing something and utility classes should be killing and utilisizing. Just sayin...I could go on a tangent about why I dislike many modern MMOs off this single worded response of a question. =p
I see it even today with some newer stuff: We have dozens of classes, all while what that means is we have a few combinations of these classes that you can use or you're doing it wrong.
