Update the FAQ, please

For the love of all that's holy, why in the world does the FAQ not contain answers to questions that are asked every_single_stream and every_single_podcast? Take the questions asked in these streams, and add the answers, even if the answer is "no comment" to the FAQ. Please!

    You make a compelling argument.

Hard to disagree with this. The current FAQ, while certainly vast, is just out of date. Could really stand to be updated anyway, but what a great opportunity to update it with the questions people are actually asking.

Imagine how many more questions could have been covered in that stream if half the ones being asked had an answer of "Go check out the official FAQ for the answer to that question!" (but said in a nice way of course).

People don't read the FAQ anyway.

Whaaaat?  Use an instantly-update-able instant-communications mechanism?  Give your head a shake. ;)

Let us take this to the logical extreme. Every question was answered in the FAQ.

What would we have to talk about? We could be syncophants and say yes yes I love what VR is doing. We could question or disagree or suggest changes and get flamed because the word of the Gods was clearly set forth and it was not productive and hurting the game to publicly criticize the Powers.

The forums would die a miserable death and we would have nothing to do but wait for alpha/beta/release.

Obviously a great exaggeration - but I am comfortable with where we are now.

Of course someone official doing an occasional pass over the FAQ, removing or correcting mistakes, and adding new things that weren't known when the last pass was made wouldn't be a bad idea.

We keep a detailed version on our wiki that is community run and is updated often: https://pantheonriseofthefallen.gamepedia.com/FAQ

    Full Wiki page: https://pantheonriseofthefallen.gamepedia.com/Pantheon:_Rise_of_the_Fallen_Wiki

The one on our official site, while still rather large, is a more compact general version that gets updates over a longer period due to the constant changes in development. We try to keep the one on this site as up to date as possible but sadly not a lot of clicks/views go to that page so we will probably consolidate it in the future with less info and more generally asked questions.

Just a request: when you guys do update the official site, maybe mention it on your news forums.

I have read the entire FAQ, but its been a year or more. I would like to refresh when you guys do.

And thank you for taking the time to do it. People often forget that time spent on any one thing is time not spent on something else.

    Opportunity cost is a *****.

As we jokingly said in another thread about updating the FAQ. FAQ seems to really stand for Frequently Answered Questions not Frequently Asked Questions. If they have never answered a question, they won't put it in the FAQ even if it's asked all the time.
