    By default there is some nasty overlapping between

    elements and
      elements in the profile.

      If you want to correct this overlap, just go to: edit my profile -> profile style,

      and insert the following in your custom css box:

      .profile_fields {
      display: inline-block;
      }
      h4 {
      display: inline-block;
      }
      ul {
      display: block;
      padding: 2px;
      margin: 2px;
      }
      li span {
      margin-top: 5px;
      }

      I've tested this in both chrome and IE. Looks great.

    If you want a comparison, go to my profile: https://www.pantheonmmo.com/content/profile/phamtrinli

    and
    click on "Info"

    and then look at a default profile's "Info" tab.

    Heya, Pham.

    I suspect that most people aren't putting much effort into their profile here in these forums because we've been told (for the past year) that we're getting new software real soon now.

    So far as profiles, even when you make your profile public, some information such as your custom CSS isn't shown to others.   If you want to exchange CSS ideas with other members, you'll have to do it here and use awkward workarounds to show the code.

    It's fairly common for the forum software to gobble up certain HTML elements which the programmers don't want you using.   Even if you use the code editor  (<> button), you will find that some of your HTML disappears on save, but works in preview, which is very frustrating.

    Don't expect any changes or new features to these forums.  They were a stop-gap solution from the day they were implemented and always were intended to be replaced.  The VR team is small and their focus has been elsewhere.
