There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead, well, with all dead there's usually only one thing you can do.

Players are able to be slapped awake when napping, however if you release yourself from your body during this beating process you will not wake up.

    - Support has been added to revive fallen players before they release. (player needs to not release during casting or it will fail) In an unrelated note, Zombies have been added to the game.

    Or

    - Fallen players will fall and not be able to get back up if they release while someone is attempting to revive them.

    Or

    - The death collector will no longer be accepting non-dead players. They either need to release first or be revived before releasing. If they release during the revival process it will fail. Otherwise, Bring out your Dead!

Tangina: Cross over children. All are welcome. All welcome. Go into the Light.

Steve: No! No, you said no!

Tangina: There is peace and serenity in the Light.

Steve: You said don't go into the light!

    - Support Reviving fallen players and not just corpses (player needs to not release during casting or it will fail).  In the words of the immortal Chumbawamba, "I get knocked down, but I get up again, you are never gonna keep me down".  At least as long as a Cleric is around.

    - We discovered a bug with the death system becasue the bite of death was not strong enough.  All players were popping back up from death because the game thought that all deaths were feign deaths.  We gave a lesson to the bug that was doing this and now death has some bite/sting to it.  Because of this all players need to be supported and consoled for a short time after reviving so it is reccommended not to release their spirits while casting the Revive line of spells.

Resurrecting previously dead players was beginning to show negative long term effects on health, releasing while casting res will now cause it to fail.

    - Dammit Jim, I'm a Cleric not a Necromancer !

     - If you clicky, you remain Icky; If you patiently wait, you will stand up straight.

     - Remain in your seat until the rez is complete.

     - Hey, We don't feel like putting a timer on the release button that is longer than the Rez Cast Time. What ! do you think we are made of money !

During rezzing Moby's 'Lift me up' will play, though If the player releases before the rezzing is complete they will continue to eat dirt, which is evidently not 'sweeter than dowel.'

The reports of your death have been largely exaggerated, unless of course you fail at living, in which case you become a corpse, hit the release/panic button, causing the nulling and voiding of the resurrection spell.

Local Necromancer guild #13 will be contacting Pantheon Management to file grievances due to this new announcement supporting the resurrecting of fallen players instead of allowing the creation of undead which we feel is overstepping managements powers. We believe all players should be allowed to make that decision once dead or in other words allowing us to question them before making that crucial decision. We think management would be surprised in how many players would actually prefer to come back as undead vs being alive. There are many advantages to being undead which we will be glad to explain and there is only a small donation required to join the guild.

Just a reminder from the Clerics Union that waiting until the spell is finished casting will prevent additional Necromancy charges from appearing on your bill.  As Necromancy is a foul abomination in the eyes of our gods we must sublet these services out at a premium rate.  These rates are not controlled by us, and the services cannot be guaranteed.  Partial or complete loss of soul has been reported in sample studies.  Please be advised.
