Quadro?

I do my Engineering consulting from home, so I have a pretty solid CAD workstation.

    In short, it's a Core i7 4790 box with a Quadro K620 video card, and 32 GB of 1600 DDR3.

It runs WoW full out, but that's not saying a lot, as WoW, despite its faults is damned well optimized for meh PC's.

I'm HOPING the quadro will be enough for me to do my work, but be able to leave Pantheon running in the background, switching over to do some crafting, spawn checking, etc.

Any thoughts/predictions/assumptions from Brad, the Keeper of the Meh Gaming Rig?

I agree it is not optimized for games, drivers. It is 50/50 either it works or it doesnt. The quadro Lines are awesome Cad cards. I have installed, configured for many customers these video cards. Mainly in Manufacturing.

So it can never be answered as i doubt the devs will have Autocad installed.

You are the best judge of that, but i would make up a new tower, just for gaming.
