I think there actually was for a brief period of time at the very beginning. Either way, if I remember correctly, Istuulamae said that the Skar were originally inspired by the Trolls, but as they continued to build the world and the story, it just made more sense for the Skar to become what they are today.
So sorry, but you're about 2-3 years too late to have a hope of changes like that haha. And yeah, no idea how this ended up in Fan Sites lol
