Its great how bulgy the ogre is, its the perfect mix between muscle and too many gnome sandwiches
Weapon looks epic! hoping that kind of flashy weapon graphic is reserved for truly epic wepons and not common ones
It would be awesome if the characters hold their shield straps in their hand instead of just being around the wrist, but a very minor thing

I think its a pretty good first pass for what they show on their main site for ogres.

I don t think the announcement here is that we're getting to see what the final shaman are going to look like. That looks like a placeholder. The announceement is that we're going to see shaman gameplay for the first time during this week's twitch stream.
Personally, I like the look of the Ogre. Like the EQ1 style, but with modern graphics.
Can't wait to see the Shaman in action, as if we needed another reason to tune in for the live stream... Cannot wait!
I think the confusion here is the vacant stare of Ogur wit and intellect...no matter what the model, they still look like hulking brutes...I like it overall!!
Also, the spectral wolf is interesting as well. From an artwork perspective, which is an easy tweak, the mouth opacity looks a bit high given the rest of the body.
Will this reveal/stream be played from the shaman perspective to let us see the pet control mechanics?

Yeah, we were not able to make the changes before going live with this screenshot but as with most things in this early stage of development, it will change. ;)
Almost can't contain my excitement for this! Shaman is probably my #2 most interesting class right now :) Really curious to see how it plays. Christmas is coming early! I'm gonna soak up every moment of this stream. As others have said, I'm looking forward to seeing more life-like models, but this is definitely a good start.

So far we've seen Cleric, Warrior, Enchanter, Rogue and Wizard.
I think the ogre looks fantastic personally. Have to remember this early in the process the graphics have not had a "glossy" optimized pass. And while its cool to see where things are going with the models, the concentration is, and should be, on world building (which looks amazing!) and gameplay.
Is he using a headless gnome corpse for a belt buckle?
Can't wait! and if you look closely, it almost looks like that dog is a retriever of some sort?
