Very recently had a very special person pass, made a picture in her honor. Thought I would share it. Rhodedendrom forest In copic, would be neat to see something like these in the game since Nepal is a bit far from me, seeing one in person may be difficult.

Beautiful work with those trees, the shading is really well done!  I'm very sorry to hear about your friend.  /Comfort

That lighting.. er, shading... on the trees is brilliant. The whole image looks almost like an eastern + western style fusion. Really like it, great work! Best to you through your time of loss, Vita.

Ty all, appreciate the kind words. Art has always been my outlet for grief, that said, I wouldn't mind seeing forests like this in an MMO. Calling the piece "Mason's ridge" in honor of the only mother I ever had :) There are Rhodedendrom forests in Nepal that cover the mountain sides, when they bloom... So beautiful. Again, thank you all. Cheers

Some new fan art, been busy with school (almost there)... enjoy! Unfortunately some of the color gets saturated because of my scanner...

I am loving this style! I especially like the trees and the cloud, and the layering of trees over the mountains/sky. (I'm hoping it's the blues/greys in the back there that ended up oversaturated, since there could be a bit more contrast between background and midground.)

That's cool. Reminds me of Avendyr's Pass.

VitaKorp you inspire me to put my hand to a brush again. I've been busy with some writing projects and don't get much time to paint anymore. But the beauty you create over and over and over again just makes me want to add some life to a blank canvas once more.

    Bravo.

    Thank You.

@bazgrim it was roughly based off some of the halfling locals :)

@klumpedge I am honored, so glad that my art could inspire, and I look forward to what you create if you so choose to share!

This is a cool style of painting, almost comic book like!  I really love your latest work!  I'd love to see some character art in this new style too!

Are you working on a piece now?

Made with Copic Markers (incidently what anime and comic book artists make use of) the outlines came out a bit darker than originally intended, and the piece was sketched in 20 mins as opposed to the more time consuming character art I have done. I am working on a tavern setting off and on, but school has become very time consuming. :)

Ohh! Tavern setting would be awesome! Especially in blue hour with some golden ambient light in the windows and perhaps in the street lanterns! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

    Looking forward to it!

Wow man, that’s amazing. I’d buy that and hang it on the wall. Can’t wait to see it once the tree is colored.

Wow that's coming together really quickly!

Totally looks like the Silent Sanctum in the distance. I hope there really is a cave like this in those mountains in-game.
