I've always liked the idea of a bladed bow. Not only can your class wield it at range but the weapon can also be used at close quarters. What are your favorite type of bows?

I hunt with a d style longbow, love it! Still target shoot with my recurve too. I'm a traditional stick and string guy

Bladed bows are an interesting item enhancement. Practically though, I would expect the draw string would get in the way. I could see it useful for a short, defence based action, but it would be too cumbersome to use as a general melee weapon replacement. Also, the extra weight would not be beneficial to the aim for sustained use.

The more I think about it, although it looks good, I think a plain, lightweight, unadorned bow is always the way to go. Quality over quantity.

However, this is a fantasy world. Lol.

I like the second image of the bladed bow. The first one looks like too much blade and not enough bow. And the way the blades are positioned, the further back you pull the string, the closer its gonna bring those blades to your face and that's probably not something you want. The third one looks cool, but not very practical. It would be cool to be able to melee if you get jumped while carrying your bow without having to take time to switch weapons.

Very non-flashy traditional looking bows. Something that looks good, would be real world functional, and isn't just completely over the top rediculous looking.
