Public Quests in Warhammer were good. The combat and finishers in Vanguard were fantastic.

I don't have anything on the Devs answering these mate as I hassled the team for days to give everyone a chance to throw these questions at you guys! lol

I will run it by them and see who is free to answer a few but if not (as I know they are all flat out at the moment) then maybe for the next one I could collect specific questions from the community and allocate different ones to the different team members specialising in those areas to flip it around and let you get to know them more?

I will have to see how this one goes first and then go from there but I know the team enjoyed helping me put this together and I like your idea mate so I will see what I can do ;)

    1) What MMO's have you played?

In no particular order, EQ, VG, Rift, ArcheAge, Neverwinter, D&D, UO, EQ2, DFUW, WoW, FFARR, GW2, Jade Dynasty, RuneScape, SWG, SWTOR, Tera, Aion.

EQ & VG are my favorites by far and VG is the most time I have ever put into an MMORPG topping out at over 7 years.

    2) What MMO are you currently playing?

ArcheAge with old VG friends for a bit of time wasting fun when I can find time to log in! But nothing serious.

    3) What feature did you enjoy the most from your favorite MMO's?

    VG Combat and weaknesses

    4) What class was your favorite and what was your max level?

All of them are from VG and my favorite lightfighter was a Rogue 55, favorite healer was my Tuurgin Shaman 55, my favorite caster was my Psionicist 55 and my favorite tank was my DreadKnight 55 (I had 12 out of the 16 classes maxed though and I also had a lot of fun with my Cleric, Necro and Bard also to name a few :)

    5) Favorite raid target?

It would have to be Vanguard: Shendu for me, it was a massive choke point and a time in my gaming life that I will never forget for sad reasons but Reverence was progressing on this target and we had it down to 18% HP after a few weeks of trying (only 2 guilds were able to kill Shendu at that point and only 1 had him on farm which was Veracity) to only get some bad news delivered by SOE and we lost half of our guild within a matter of days, never able to finish the mob off as a guild but to then later come back with friends in other guilds and be able to finally kill it on behalf of all my guild mates was very satisfying indeed and then to lead a Reverence PUG raid later on that was able to kill it meant a lot too!

I have to give Kotasoth an honourable mention for being the end boss of one of the best dungeons I have ever played in, APW rocked back in the 1-50 days of VG and back then Kota was king!

Group boss I liked was "Akande the Butcher" I was a sucker for punishment lol ;)

    1. What MMO's have you played?

I started with EverQuest slightly before Kunark was released. I stopped slightly after Planes of Power. From there I remember going to Guild Wars, and just continued to hop around trying to find a game that would keep me around like EverQuest did. I was in closed beta for Vanguard, and played for a while after its release. I was big on Age of Conan when it first released, the PVP server was a lot of fun. I had a decent World of Warcraft stint, on and off for a few years as well. Other than that I've done the typical  "download and play for a few hours" of nearly any other MMORPG you can think of.

    2. What MMO are you currently playing?

Since I joined development I have really just about eliminated the time I allocated to gaming. My conditions for playing a game for a little bit is 1- Its the weekend, and 2- its being played socially, with some friends. Another plus is if it is a game I can analyze mechanics in, or look at the construction of graphical assets. If I can gain some sort of knowledge, insight, I am more likely to play. Lately this has been- Dark Souls I/II, Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Forest, Monster Hunter, and of course Skyrim. I'll occasionally hop into p99 as well.

    3. What feature did you enjoy the most from your favorite MMO's?

I just loved all the synergistic elements that brought classic EverQuest to life.

    4. What class was your favorite and what was your max level?

This is a tough one, since I usually had a case of alt fever. I tend to find myself gravitating more towards healing classes, or casters with interesting utility.

    5. Favorite raid target?

I never got to take part in it, but I always thought the idea for "The Sleeper" was amazing. I have always been a fan of large scale, unique experiences like that, where players effect nearly the entire game world.

    6. Question six can be used by the Pantheon team to ask us a question.

We just sent out a questionnaire for all of you to answer, check out Kilsin's post and fill them out for us there!

    1. What MMO's have you played?

It all started with the launch of Everquest 1 for me. My first character was a Human Paladin on The Rathe server. I made it to level 9, but I spent all of my training points on weapon skills, so I had no points to put into my spell schools. Thus, I would fizzle endlessly, though only 2 or 3 would make me OOM and Paladins don't get meditate until level 15... I decided to follow some higher level guys on the run from Qeynos to Freeport, but then I died to a ghoul, rooted and helpless, in North Ro and had no context on how to get back when I respawned outside of Qeynos. I then rolled on the Prexus server the day it opened and played between there and Sullon Zek for the remainder of my time in EQ.

Additionally, I've played Asheron's Call, EQ2, World of Warcraft, DAOC, Shadowbane, Lineage 2, Vanguard, D&D Online, LOTRO, Age of Conan, Aion, Rift, SWTOR and GW2.

    2. What MMO are you currently playing?

This incredible game called Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen Development ;) Also, when I have a few additional moments to spare, I'll play my Shaman on P99.

    3. What feature did you enjoy the most from your favorite MMO's?

    - The RvR in DAOC

    - The PvP experience of community, diplomacy and danger that Sullon Zek provided (Tides of Wrath - Neutral Team for life).

    - The spell system in EQ1 - that every single spell had a unique name and on-cast/on-land flavor text that distinguished it from every other one.

    - That zones in EQ1 were filled with non-hostile NPCs, with unique names and /hail text responses, that seemingly had no apparent purpose other than just existing in the world.

    - The polish, UI/ability-responsiveness and overall playability of World of Warcraft

    - The emergent gameplay of EQ1

    - Many aspects of the class design of EQ1, WoW, VG and DAOC

    4. What class was your favorite and what was your max level?

I almost always play healing classes because I love the gameplay/group experience of it, and I pride myself on becoming a renowned and desired healer on any game/server I've called home.

My favorite healing class experiences have been as a Cleric in EQ1, a Holy Paladin in WoW (WotLK era) and a Cleric/Bloodmage in VG.

    5. Favorite raid target?

I love killing Dragons because I've always been fascinated with immensity, especially in an adversary (think Shadow of the Colossus...blows my mind).

Specifically, and in no particular order of favorites, I would say:

Dragons: Nagafen & Vox, Trakanon (the first 10 times), Kerafyrm, Malygos

Non-Dragons: Competing with Evils for any raid target on Sullon Zek, all of Naxxramas

    6. Question six can be used by the Pantheon team to ask us a question.

Indeed, Ben has put a fantastic questionnare together and we've already received a sizeable amount of quality feedback. Thanks Ben and thanks to all of you for taking the time to fill it out!

    2. What MMO are you currently playing?

I am not currently playing any just running around Vanguard EMU.

    3. What feature did you enjoy the most from your favorite MMO's?

I loved VG and pretty much everything about it. I loved the crit system where not only could you hit for more damage or you had a few other choices with your crit. The weaknesses where very fun, The open dungeons where amazing, also the raid and overlands and griffon quest where amazing along with the shadow hound quest. The starting zones, death mattered in the beginning.

    4. What class was your favorite and what was your max level?

I loved my DK, Druid, Bard, War cleric was fun for a time, Ranger all lvl 50 but also liked all the classes even though I didn't play all I had 11 in total.

    5. Favorite raid target?

I liked all the raid targets in apw and over land. I liked all the end dungeon bosses that I faced too though the fun-est had to be I believe the prince in TOT, he taught me how mobs could agro wipe a tank and go after my 5 buddies.

    1. What MMO's have you played?

EQ2, Vanguard(Despair), AoC, WAR, Vanguard(Reverence), DDO, AoC, TSW, Rift, SW:TOR, AoC, NW, ESO, FFARR

    2. What MMO are you currently playing?

ESO(PvP only), AoC(24M raids, not many games have that anymore :) ), FFARR trial

    3. What feature did you enjoy the most from your favorite MMO's?

Challenging combat with good class skills, applying and exploiting weaknesses etc

    4. What class was your favorite and what was your max level?

VG Bloodmage will probably be my all time favourite, which I had a max 55. Never been anything to match it that I have found :)

    5. Favorite raid target?

AoC Zodiac, some raid mechanics a just dumb. Rift really didn't do it for me in that area, but Funcom had a way of  making raid mechanics feel fun even when they were very unforgiving, the whole of T4 was really well done in that classes had to use there abilities and 24 players had to play well or you failed.
