I have a quest to collect some stuff for the guy in town. But I am not sure how to activate Scavenging to be able to find the items. Is there a node that I might be missing or is the skill activated in some way?
Edit: I found another thread with some information. It looks like I just haven't found a node yet.
Those 2 quests for the Scavenger were created for 247. At the time, 'stuff' of various sorts was found on 'supply dumps' all over the place. It is still possible to find items on dumps, but very rare. I think most of us have just given up on finding the items for those quests. It shouldn't block you from getting started in any of the Crafting professions.
