  Crews were chosen after more than 800 personnel volunteered to help U.S. state. More than 200 firefighting personnel from B.C. are travelling to the United States to help fight extreme, deadly wildfires in Oregon.   I am in Oregon.  The fires are mostly under control now (though still burning in many places, they seem to have been contained).  Thanks goes out to all of those who helped with the devastating fires that have been happening up and down the west coast of the US that burned millions of acres.
