  The archia look pretty cool and have some interesting lore but I was surprised to see they aren't on the list of races for a summoner.  With thier lore it seems that would be a natural fit for them.

  They are getting summoner, just isn't updated yet.

  There was some thought originally that, because of their history of being slaves, the fit with a summoner might not work. Enslaving an elemental might not feel comfortable...

  But I think they decided there is a lore-based reason they can more recently.

  Perhaps arcamental are not sentient enough to be more than magical obeying mechanics instead of intelligent beeings able to think and regret about their fate.

   

  Perhaps a bond forms between two elemental-akin beeings in which they cooperate without a matter of slavery.

  I do believe Halflings should also be summoner-capable.   

  I know - that's not "normal" but in *THIS* lore the Halflings worshipped and followed Kiryn, the Ward of Flame.

  So having a fire elemental makes sooooooooo much sense (to me).
