Usually love them - in Pantheon though I'd say that they are just "fine" (at least in comparison to other races).

Ubiquitous or obligatory.

(I dont dislike them, they're just your standard 'human... But not!' race thats in every fantasy setting. They come in different flavors but they all have the same aftertaste:])

Omnipresent. Always seem to be in every fantasy setting and never seem to change all that much between them. It's why I plan on playing something that Pantheon has taken and made Unique (Hello panthein's version of the Gnome).

Sorrow. Despair. Fury. Hope.

Awesome?

Which is to say, I love the lore behind the elves, the Ashen and the Ember and the Lucent. I think it's a great twist on the traditional, tolkien-style elves we've all seen in many games. I'm very much looking forward to playing one.
