  They just announced that Alpha (a true alpha, not today's alpha) opens today in about 30 minutes.  Hurray backers!

  I never played the first one but the game play reminds me a lot of WvW in GW 2 which I loved. I hate 1 vs 1 pvp and much prefer large scale battle like GW2 and even Rift had some nice PvP that I didn't mind.

  The Boons & Banes was pretty unique and the Build Unique Abilities.

  They are in Beta 1 now. 

  Pledges are entry level reasonable. 

   

  I played DAoC back in the day, RvR could be very fun. 

   

  I will I’ll give it a go just to experience a skill-based progression game AND you get to make your own spells AND melee maneuvers!  Gotta get a taste of that. 

   

  Not promoting that game over Pantheon , I’m too PVE focused to do that.

  I played DAoC for four years and loved it but that game did have PvE content and even one cooperative server without PvP. 

  Camelot Unchained is close to pure PvP so I am passing on it. If it were DAoC 2 I would be there as well as being here.

  I hear you, I eventually abandoned RvR and played on Gaheris. 

  Still, I’ll try it just to have some first-hand experience with the new systems.
