It's strange, but I kind of agree with this seemingly morbid opinion.
Some people would argue it's the same game. It is not. The evidence is Art (cartoon face), Instancing, PvP, Survival Mode, etc.
Lost Visionary Realms did not produce results at a rate where they could keep the community and investors excited enough to keep the funding stream flowing. Rather than accept that and change the focus, urgency, and internal accountability, the vision has been compromised. It started long before we heard of it. Now, it's a game many of us hard-liners don't recognize. We are the Fallen that this game was going to lift back up. The gamers of the past. Lovers of old EQ, Vanilla Wow, Vanguard, and others. This game is now Pantheon: Betrayal of the Fallen.
